4th IAACA Executive Committee Meeting
IAACA Executive Committee (ExCo) held its 4th meeting in the Secretariat’s new office in Hong Kong, China on 26 April 2023. This was the first time since the pandemic that a physical meeting was held for the ExCo. A total of 20 ExCo members or their representatives joined the meeting in person or online.
Liability of Legal Persons Workshop by MACC Malaysia and UNODC
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), will organize the “Liability of Legal Persons Workshop” in a hybrid format (physical and online) on 20-21 June 2023 at the Pulse Grande Hotel, Putrajaya, Malaysia.
Opening of New IAACA Office
The IAACA Secretariat is glad to announce that the new IAACA office was opened in Hong Kong, China on 26 April 2023.
Videos of IAACA Online Training Programme
Videos of the training sessions delivered by the CVC of India and the MACC of Malaysia have been uploaded and are available exclusively to IAACA members under the “Training Materials” section of the IAACA website’s Members’ Column.
Launch of IAACA Revamped Website
The IAACA website has been revamped. In addition to a new layout and design, different features have been added to facilitate information sharing and experience exchange. To name a few, there is a section called “Forum” which allows members to communicate with each other by posting their messages such as seeking cooperation or promoting anti-corruption events at anytime and anywhere convenient to them. There is also a section for housing a repository of anti-corruption resources such as publications, feature articles, training materials, etc. which can serve as handy reference for our members
New IAACA Office
The IAACA Secretariat is setting up a new office here in Hong Kong. Apart from housing a dedicated team of staff, there will be a conference room for conducting meetings and organising training activities. The new office is expected to start operation in March. To celebrate the opening of the new office, we are planning to organize a ceremony and a face-to-face meeting of the Executive Committee in mid-to late April.
