IAACA Secretary-General Participated in the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group Meeting
Mr C K Cheung, Secretary-General of IAACA, participated in the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group (ACWG) Meeting in Cape Town, South Africa, from 3 to 5 March 2025. This significant event provided a platform for Mr Cheung to highlight IAACA’s ongoing efforts in supporting its members in the prevention and combatting of corruption.

IAACA President Met Director of Singapore's Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau
On 4 March 2025, Mr Danny Woo, President of IAACA and Commissioner of ICAC, Hong Kong, China, had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Sam Tee, Director of Singapore’s Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB), along with his delegation, to the ICAC headquarters.

IAACA President Visited Partners in the Middle East
In late February 2025, Mr Danny Woo, President of IAACA and Commissioner of ICAC, Hong Kong, China, led a delegation to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to strengthen relationships in the region in the ongoing fight against corruption.

IAACA Secretary-General Attends 40th APEC ACTWG Meeting
Mr C.K. Cheung, Secretary-General of IAACA and Assistant Director of ICAC Hong Kong, China, participated in the 40th meeting of the APEC Anti-Corruption and Transparency Experts' Working Group (ACTWG) held in Gyeongju, Korea, on 27-28 February 2025. During the meeting, Mr Cheung provided an overview of IAACA’s achievements in 2024 and outlined strategic initiatives for the upcoming year.

Hong Kong ICAC and GlobE Network conclude financial investigation course
This week, the Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption of Hong Kong ICAC and the Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network), of which IAACA is an observer, concluded the "Professional Development Programme on Financial Investigation & Asset Recovery" - a 9-day intensive anti-corruption bootcamp.

The Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption (Academy) has turned One!
Holding the Presidency of IAACA, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of Hong Kong, China works closely with IAACA and Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption. They leverage their respective advantages, including ICAC's successful experience in battling against corruption in the past 50 years, the IAACA's global graft fighting network, as well as the Academy's platform for exchanges and training, and form a powerful tripartite partnership.

Hong Kong ICAC Partnering with GlobE Network on Financial Investigation Training
The Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network), of which IAACA is an observer, continues to strengthen the collaborative efforts in combating corruption on a global scale. With the support of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the GlobE Network organises events with different stakeholders to enhance peer-to-peer learning opportunities.
IAACA concluded 14th General Meeting on 6 February
The 14th General Meeting of IAACA was successfully held online on 6 February 2025. The meeting brought together 120 leaders and representatives from global anti-corruption authorities to review IAACA’s achievements in 2024, elect members of the Executive Committee (ExCo) for the upcoming three-year term, and discuss new initiatives for the year ahead.
