Strategic Priorities
IAACA has embarked on three strategic priorities to achieve its mission to promote the effective implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and to assist anti-corruption authorities internationally in the prevention of and fight against corruption.
IAACA strives to facilitate exchange of experience and best practices among anti-corruption authorities and professionals worldwide. Conferences, symposia, workshops and tailor-made training programmes are organized in collaboration with member authorities and related international and regional organizations.
Serving as a focal point of international cooperation against corruption, IAACA is committed to fostering relationships with international or regional anti-corruption organizations to create synergy and develop coordinated and concerted efforts in the international anti-corruption community.
The Secretariat provides strong support to the Association, and enhances its communication with members, in particular via online means. The IAACA website, e-News, e-Newsletter and the new IAACA Facebook Page keep members abreast of the latest development in IAACA and the global arena.
With these strategic priorities, IAACA works with all partners to galvanize members' efforts in preventing and combating corruption at international, regional and national levels, contributing to the attainment of the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal 16.5, i.e. to “substantially reduce corruption and bribery in all their forms by 2030”.
