IAACA concluded 14th General Meeting on 6 February

The 14th General Meeting of IAACA was successfully held online on 6 February 2025. The meeting brought together 120 leaders and representatives from global anti-corruption authorities to review IAACA’s achievements in 2024, elect members of the Executive Committee (ExCo) for the upcoming three-year term, and discuss new initiatives for the year ahead.

Reviewing IAACA's achievements in 2024

The Secretariat reported at the meeting IAACA's key achievements in 2024. In particular, IAACA co-hosted with the Hong Kong ICAC the 8th ICAC Symposium and IAACA 11th Annual Conference in Hong Kong in May 2024, during which the "Hong Kong Declaration on Strengthening International Cooperation in Preventing and Fighting Corruption" was adopted. The Association also organized training events for anti-corruption counterparts to share experiences, and strengthened connections with global partners. Electing Executive Committee Members

The meeting also elected members of the Executive Committee (ExCo) for the next three-year term, with the tenure until the General Meeting in early 2028. Among them, heads of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan, the Special Investigating Unit of the South Africa and the National Anti-Corruption Authority of Italy will serve as Vice Presidents. The ExCo will work closely with IAACA members and partners on various initiatives in the next three years.
