Holding the Presidency of IAACA, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of Hong Kong, China works closely with IAACA and Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption. They leverage their respective advantages, including ICAC's successful experience in battling against corruption in the past 50 years, the IAACA's global graft fighting network, as well as the Academy's platform for exchanges and training, and form a powerful tripartite partnership.

Since its establishment, the Academy has adhered to its motto, “Inherit and Acquire; Achieve and Inspire,” striving to enhance the anti-corruption capabilities of institutions in Hong Kong, the mainland of China and around the world and to establish an anti-corruption academic research platform.

Key Achievements of the Academy

• Pioneer in International Anti-Corruption Training: 23 international anti-corruption training courses were organized, covering 72 jurisdictions worldwide, to promote international anti-corruption collaboration.

• Local Hub for Professional Anti-Corruption Training: 11 local anti-corruption training courses were hosted to enhance the anti-corruption capabilities of Hong Kong's law enforcement and other professionals.

• International Anti-corruption Research Platform: With top overseas and Hong Kong research and academic institutions, it promotes academic research by experts and scholars as well as to strengthen cooperation in the training of anti-corruption professionals.

• Global Alumni Network: An international network of over 2,600 alumni was established, bringing together the strengths of global anti-corruption experts.

• Professional Accreditation: Successfully obtained Hong Kong’s Qualifications Framework Level 5 accreditation, which has further confirmed its status as an internationally recognized top-tier anti-corruption training institution.
