The Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network), of which IAACA is an observer, continues to strengthen the collaborative efforts in combating corruption on a global scale. With the support of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the GlobE Network organises events with different stakeholders to enhance peer-to-peer learning opportunities.

In February 2025, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of Hong Kong, China partnered with the GlobE Network to host a nine-day "Professional Development Programme on Financial Investigation & Asset Recovery " in Hong Kong. A total of 34 participants from 19 countries across Africa, Asia, Oceania, Europe, and South America have joined the programme, with 8 countries participating for the first time!

Themed "Combatting Corruption and Financial Crimes: A Global Response", the programme covers topics such as forensic investigation, financial data analysis, tracing of illicit funds, anti-money laundering, and international co-operation. The programme is supported by renowned speakers from overseas, Mainland China, and Hong Kong, while experienced ICAC forensic accountants and investigators from the Commission’s Asset Recovery Office will share with participants the ICAC’s expertise and experience in financial investigation and recovery of crime proceeds.
In addition, participants will join a three-day study tour to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to learn the latest anti-graft and economic development of Mainland China.
More details about the course can be found in the website of ICAC’s Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption.
