To mark its golden jubilee, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of Hong Kong, China, has launched a unique café named "1974," commemorating the year of the ICAC’s founding. Situated in its headquarters, the café opened its doors to the public on 15 November 2024.
Coffee has long been symbolic of the ICAC’s operations. In Hong Kong, being "invited for coffee" often refers to subjects being interviewed by the ICAC. This café, rich with educational and publicity features, offers visitors an opportunity to delve into the ICAC’s anti-corruption mission while enjoying Hong Kong’s signature "ICAC coffee."
