In December 2024, Mr. Titrudeo Dawoodarry was nominated as the Acting Director-General of the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) by the President of the Republic of Mauritius.
Since 2016, he has been the Acting Director of the Investigations Division of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), which was subsumed in the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) in March 2024. From 2002 to 2004, he was a Chief Investigator at the ICAC Mauritius and was appointed Acting Director of Investigations in 2004.
He is a long-serving officer of the Mauritius Police Force, currently holding the post of Superintendent of Police and reckons 37 years of service in the Mauritius Police Force, ICAC Mauritius and FCC.
Mr. T. Dawoodarry is a graduate of the US Army Intelligence School, specialising in intelligence, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting, a master’s in computer Forensics and Security and a degree in Communication.
Mr. T. Dawoodarry was in charge of the Cyber Crime Unit at the Central Crime Investigation Division and also served as the officer-in-charge of Interpol, Mauritius, from December 2014 to July 2016.
