Since taking up the Presidency of IAACA in September 2023, Mr Danny Woo has been steering the Association to focus on three strategic priorities: Enhancing professional experience sharing; Forging closer international partnerships; and Strengthening online initiatives to connect graft-fighters. Mr Fikrat Mammadov, IAACA Vice-President and Minister of Justice of Azerbaijan, shares an innovative initiative to combat corruption in Azerbaijan - ASAN (which means "easy" in Azerbaijani), one-stop service centres that aim to increase the transparency and efficiency of public administration to minimize corruption opportunities. This initiative has gained international recognition and was honoured with the "Best Government Service in the World" award at the 10^th World Government Summit in 2023.

SIU Establishes Anti-Corruption Academy to Enhance Its Capacity

IAACA Vice-President and Head of the Special Investigating Unit of South Africa (SIU) Adv. Andy Mothibi shares the latest initiative of SIU to establish an Anti-Corruption Academy under the South Africa-France Cooperation Protocol Agreement. The new Anti-Corruption Academy aims to enhance SIU's capacity on cyber-forensic and financial investigation as well as the corruption prevention capabilities of anti-corruption and law enforcement agencies in the Southern African Development Community region.
