The new office of the IAACA Secretariat was opened in Hong Kong, China on 26 April 2023.
Mr Simon Peh, IAACA President, remarked at the opening ceremony that the new office for the Secretariat would benefit the long-term development of the Association. He thanked the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China for its continuous support to IAACA and the Secretariat, which made the establishment of this new office possible.
Over 50 distinguished guests witnessed this momentous occasion, including Mr Danny Woo, Commissioner of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), Hong Kong, China, IAACA Vice Presidents H.E. Mr Fikrat Mammadov and Adv. Andy J.L. Mothibi, IAACA Executive Committee Members, as well as delegates of anti-corruption authorities.
H.E. Mr Fikrat Mammadov, IAACA Vice President and Minister of Justice, Republic of Azerbaijan, presented to IAACA Secretariat at the ceremony a handmade carpet with the logos of IAACA and ICAC to commemorate this milestone of the Association.
The new office, located on 18/F, 625 King’s Road, North Point, Hong Kong, China, now serves as the base for the IAACA Secretariat to manage the Association’s daily affairs, organize meetings and training events for IAACA members and partners worldwide.
