To further strengthen the composition of the Executive Committee (ExCo) for greater representation, the Office of the Comptroller General of Brazil and the UAE Accountability Authority were elected as new ExCo members at the 15th IAACA General Meeting on 13 December 2025.

2nd ExCo Meeting of 2025 and 15th General Meeting
The 2nd ExCo Meeting of 2025 and the 15th General Meeting took place on 12 December 2025 and 13 December 2025 respectively, in Doha, Qatar.
During the meetings, the Secretariat presented an overview of IAACA’s key achievements in 2025 [PDF report]. A significant highlight of the General Meeting was the election of new ExCo members. The Office of the Comptroller General of Brazil and the UAE Accountability Authority of United Arab Emirates were elected to serve a three-year term, which will conclude at the General Meeting at the end of 2028.
In addition, Members discussed IAACA’s major initiatives for 2026 [attachment] at the meeting. IAACA will continue to promote the spirit of the Hong Kong Declaration and enhance global cooperation by exchanging experiences with partners, co-hosting regional conferences, and developing joint anti-corruption guidebook.
