Making our voice heard at the G20
For the first time, IAACA President and ICAC Commissioner, Mr Danny Woo, led a delegation and addressed the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group in South Africa. In his address, Mr Woo detailed how the association is uniting anti-corruption authorities worldwide.
The trip was also a valuable opportunity to strengthen our global network. Mr Woo held productive meetings with key IAACA leaders to deepen partnerships.

IAACA at ENPE 2025: Advancing Global Anti-Corruption Efforts
Our Secretary-General, Mr CK Cheung, spoke at the ENPE Annual Conference 2025 in Budapest, Hungary on 16 October 2025, hosted by the Integrity Authority of Hungary. With about 80 participants from public ethics bodies, policymakers, and experts across Europe, the event was a powerhouse of ideas under the theme: “From Policy to Practice: Effective Conflict of Interest Control and Oversight to Combat Corruption.”
Mr Cheung’s virtual address brought IAACA’s global perspective to the forefront, reinforcing the importance of international cooperation in building transparent and accountable governance. He joined inspiring discussions with leaders including Professor Slagjana Taseva, Dean of IACA, and Nejla Saula, Head of Anti-Corruption and Integrity in Government Division of OECD.
Building Bridges Across Southeast Asia
IAACA was proud to participate in the 21st Principals Meeting of the ASEAN Parties Against Corruption (ASEAN-PAC), held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
IAACA Secretary-General Mr CK Cheung delivered a presentation, highlighting IAACA’s steadfast commitment to regional collaboration and showcasing initiatives tailored specifically for the ASEAN region. The meeting also provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen IAACA’s global network. Mr Cheung met with IAACA Executive Committee member Hon. Tan Sri Dato' Sri Haji Azam bin Baki (Chief Commissioner, Anti-Corruption Commission of Malaysia), and reconnected with other esteemed IAACA members, including representatives from the Commission of Myanmar and the Office of the Ombudsman of Philippines.
