Capacity Building Programme on "Meaningful Youth Engagement in Anti- Corruption Work”

In July 2025, IAACA will co-organize a capacity building programme on “Meaningful Youth Engagement in Anti-Corruption Work” with the Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption (HKIAAC), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (ONACC) of Thailand.
This is one of our efforts to disseminate the Policy Guide for National Anti-corruption Authorities on Meaningful Youth Engagement in Anti-Corruption Work, the publication jointly developed in 2023 by IAACA, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of Hong Kong, China, as well as UNODC with a view to supporting anti- corruption agencies in meaningfully engaging young people as a powerful force in the fight against corruption.
The programme, including a regional seminar and a workshop, will take place in Bangkok, Thailand from 22 to 24 July 2025. It will bring together experts in youth education, anti-corruption agency officers, and youth representatives from different jurisdictions in Asia to explore how meaningful youth engagement can positively influence anti-corruption efforts, and share the valuable experiences in their respective jurisdictions.
“Coding4Integrity” Asian Youth Anti-Corruption Hackathon

The Hackathon, co-organized by IAACA, Hong Kong ICAC and UNODC, will be held in Hong Kong from 15 to 19 September, 2025. This event engages young IT and anti- corruption enthusiasts from 15 jurisdictions of Asia in developing innovative technological solutions to combat corruption.
As part of the project, an online Bootcamp was held from 2 to 4 July 2025, during which anti-corruption and IT experts gave briefings to help the participants better prepared for the competition.

The IAACA Annual Conference and General Meeting

The 11th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the UNCAC (CoSP11) – one of the world’s largest anti-corruption events – will convene in Doha, Qatar from 15 to 19 December 2025. This high-profile event will bring together senior delegates from anti-corruption authorities worldwide.
IAACA will seize this opportunity to organize the next Annual Conference and General Meeting in Doha, Qatar on 13 December 2025 (Saturday). We are grateful to have Hong Kong ICAC, the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) of Qatar and UNODC as co-hosts of the event.
The Annual Conference and General Meeting will serve as a dynamic forum for IAACA members to exchange insights, explore innovative approaches to combating corruption, and chart the way forward for IAACA. By fostering collaboration, sharing expertise, and developing actionable strategies, the event aims to strengthen collective efforts and drive meaningful progress in the global fight against corruption.
IAACA Secretariat will soon send details about the event to the IAACA members. We look forward to seeing your participation!
