IAACA, along with its over 180 members, is committed to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 16.5 “substantially reduce corruption and bribery in all their forms” by 2030.
Appointment of new Secretary-General

Mr C K Cheung was appointed by IAACA Executive Committee in February 2025 as the Association’s new Secretary-General, following the retirement of his predecessor Mr Kenneth Wong.
Mr Cheung is currently the Assistant Director of International Cooperation of the Independent Commission Against Corruption of Hong Kong, China. He is a dedicated anti-corruption professional with over 17 years of experience in corruption prevention and governance. Throughout his career, Mr Cheung has spearheaded corruption prevention initiatives across diverse sectors, such as civil service integrity, public procurement, funding schemes, construction, education, and non-governmental organizations.
Mr. Cheung expressed his enthusiasm for the new challenges ahead: “I am truly honoured to take on the role of leading the IAACA Secretariat. My team and I will continue to support IAACA in strengthening international anti-corruption collaboration, improving communication among members, and enhancing the Association's visibility within the global community.”
“I would like to extend my gratitude to Mr. Danny Woo, IAACA President, and the IAACA Executive Committee for placing their trust in me for this significant responsibility. I also want to thank my predecessor, Mr Kenneth Wong, for establishing an efficient and professional secretariat team to manage the Association's daily operations,” Mr. Cheung added.
